Being Thankful

Mom: I am thankful for having my family here for dinner and to be able eat all this food and have a happy life and job during a very bad economic year.

Me: I am just happy I got to be a Berkeley student during a new era of protesting and riots.

Mom: Why?

Me: Because whats the point of paying for Berkeley if you are not a protesting tree hugging hippie? I can't graduate during an era of education and reform, thats just so unBerkeley.
